Frets for Vets

Fret' s for Vets is a program started by the owner Scott Rickett with his friend "Big John" 

John came back from the first Gulf war and had a hard time adjusting. He always told Scott he wished he could play guitar like him. So Scott gave him one of his old guitars and started giving him lessons. It helped him deal with some of the stress and anxiety and It gave him something to focus on. Very quickly the word spread and John started bringing over other Vets and active service members. Those who could not afford guitars we supply them as well as tuners , cases , stands and music books. The goal is to expand the program beyond Scott's garage on Wednesday nights and bring in additional teachers and if possible music sponsors for additional equipment across the country.
